Wednesday, August 13 - Many of the group wanted to drive to Bern early before our guided tour at 2:30 PM so they could shop for souvenirs in old Bern. We parked the vans near the Rosengarten (Rose Garden) and walked to the Bear pit "Baerengraben." This attraction dates back to 1857 and currently only houses one bear.
