Storks have pride. They understand their place in the world. After all, without storks (and chimneys) the human race would perish. They do not simply settle for conspicuous spots to build their nests. They have high standards of quality which must be met. They seem to be particularly fond of ancient stone columns...

I think my remarkably low expectations for Kuşadası actually allowed me to enjoy it more once we got there. Sure, the seaside is cluttered with mammoth cruise ships.
