Banos
July 16th 2008 After our Galapagos excursion we headed southeast by bus from Quito to a city called Banos (Baths). The city sits in the jungle surrounded by mountains, volcanoes and waterfalls. Absolutely breathtaking. Our first day we checked in to the hostel Le Petit Auberge and walked around town, checking out all the waterfalls and "Mineral Baths" which turned out to be more like community swimming pools.
