The calm during the storm

You wouldn't believe the water conditions on the other side of the rocks in the left hand portion of this picture. We beached, hauled our boats up onto the shore and walked 3 kilometers to a phone so we could call a cab to take us to the ferry terminal. We came back the next day by car to pick up the boats. It was a fine adventure.
