Pioneer John Corbett

This grave is on Robin Hood Station. He was a storekeeper from the Cloncurry goldfields, and was murdered by local Aboriginals while on his way from Western Creek to Normanton in 1871. He was carrying a large sum of gold which was still loaded on his horse.
