We arrived into Melbourne just before a long weekend and a week before the Melbourne Grand Prix around mid-March, planning for it to be our new home until July. Due to our complete lack of forward planning we stupidly thought we could book 3 nights accommodation and we would have found a place of our own easy enough after that.
