Having said our goodbyes to everyone from our Fraser group, we caught the Greyhound down to Brisbane. This was almost up with Melbourne as my number one Oz city. Very lively with a river running through it past cliff walks and 'Street Beach' a pleasant lagoon. We caught a Citycat ferry from the centre to the western edge of the city near the Uni, and then returned after darkness had fallen to fi ... read more

After years of commuting by rail and road, we both decided enough was enough and to take the plunge and plan a Round the World trip. Six months was the limit we set, but who knows if we'll stick to it??
This trip has been in the pipeline for at least 18 months, and once the money was saved, the jabs done (ouch!), it was all systems go. As of 18th Sep 05, Lin and Jeremy have left the country!!... full info
