hundreds of kilt-wearing scottish men, young and old, brought their unending sociability and merriment to the duomo for all of Friday. Bag pipes and flags, boxes and boxes of beer and muggs and endless Scottish songs and chants. A soccer ball bounces so high in the air, that from the top of the duomo we see it fly from one end of the mass of drunken, skirted men to the other. no fights. no aggression. but where were the italians? the carabinieri? their UNDERWEAR??????
