After a rainy weekend at the Mount all of us Americans were determined to get back there and get some sun. Simon, a guy who lives across the hall from me, invited 8 of us to his beach house in Papamoa for the weekend. Its just south of the mount0 ten minute drive. I am originally from San Diego, California- yeah Chula Vista! I have been going to school in Chicago for the past two and half years and I have decided to Study abroad in... drum roll please... New Zealand because its gorgeous and its warm there and the culture is really interesting. This will be quite the experience for the little chula vista girl who hasnt traveled outside the US except for mexico. This blog is to keep all my fam and friends updated on my trip so yeah enjoy!
