Chacmool

This chap sits on top of the temple of the warriors. These carvings have a stone dish on their stomaches to hold sacrficial offerings. You used to be able to climb up these monuments until 2 tourists fell off ( last human sacrifices perhaps?)now you cant. Which is a shame for photo opportunities!

We ended the last blog heading off to meet to meet Trish and Neal with plenty of time in hand. However, as often happens, we did get side tracked on the way.
