Got up at 05:00 for our deluxe bus to Jodphur.....NOT!!! We were the only westerners which was cool, however we stopped for everyone on the highway. We even made stops that were not on the way so that selling and buying could go on!! Loads of people sat on the roof and in the aisle- absoloutley boiling. Took over 5 hours. wish we were still travelling

myself and my hubby went travelling to india, srilanka, thailand, vietnam, cambodia, laos and malaysia in 2002-2003 for a year. I kept written journals at the time and now want to translate them into type! Some of these will be boring as they will be exactly what I wrote at the time; lots of mention of e-mailing , sitting in cafes, sitting on buses, trains and boats!!!
