Luang Prabang is a lovely town with a French colonial feel about it. We stayed in a hotel a 5 minute tuk tuk ride from the centre and spent 3 days in total chilling out in the town, having massages for $3, seeing the temples, sampling the local food, banana shakes and of course beer loas!. The waterfall was amazing and about an hours truck ride away. They had a small zoo with a tiger and local ... read more
