Luang Prabang is a lovely town with a French colonial feel about it. We stayed in a hotel a 5 minute tuk tuk ride from the centre and spent 3 days in total chilling out in the town, having massages for $3, seeing the temples, sampling the local food, banana shakes and of course beer loas!. The waterfall was amazing and about an hours truck ride away. They had a small zoo with a tiger and local bears. After 3 days of relaxation we took a bus to Vang Vieng. Unfortunately we arrived late at night and were leaving at 2.00pm the next day for Vientiene the capital of Laos so we had no time to go tubing. I'll have to go back in March for that !! :)
