Like Mauritania, only the girls wear much less August 10th 2007 The week in Senegal remains a blur in my mind as it was a tad traumatic and stressful! I remember the first thing I noticed immediately when we crossed the border was the dress code. Mauritania is 100% Muslim (the law) and Senegal is cited (Lonely Planet) at around 90%.
