Angkor Wat is by no means the only jewel in the ancient Khmers Empires crown with other temple treasures like Bayon and Ta Prohm you are hard pushed to see half the delights on a 3 Day Pass. This is especially the case if you are like us and decide to go by peddle power instead of tuk tuk which is admittedly a pleasant way to see the Angkorian delights and surrounding countryside but under the bl ... read more

Hi, welcome to be my Travelblog capturing my experiences as I head of for pastures new - well jungles, mountains and deserts to be precise! I have decided it is time to live that dream I have had for many years and so finally took the plunge; left my job, rented out my house and heading off to Borneo to spend 2 months helping rescued Orang-utans at Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre. After this amazing experience I will see some more of Malaysia before heading on to Nepal and India. I don't know what the journey holds but here is where you will find out.
