Be prepared to have your socks blown off if you are wearing any in the heat of Cambodia by making a trip to Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat has a reputation for been one of the most magnificent temples in the world and it will definitely give the Taj Mahal a run for its money (though it is a hefty 40USD for a 3 day pass to visit Angkor Wat and surrounding Temples in the Angkor Archeological Park it is wort ... read more

Hi, welcome to be my Travelblog capturing my experiences as I head of for pastures new - well jungles, mountains and deserts to be precise! I have decided it is time to live that dream I have had for many years and so finally took the plunge; left my job, rented out my house and heading off to Borneo to spend 2 months helping rescued Orang-utans at Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre. After this amazing experience I will see some more of Malaysia before heading on to Nepal and India. I don't know what the journey holds but here is where you will find out.
