These delicious cactus fruits are bright magenta in color and have a flavor similar to raspberries. We weren't brave enough to collect them in the wild; their spines will cling to you for days if not gathered properly.

Prickly Pear catcus
I grew this cactus but never had the chance to taste the fruit.What does it taste like.How can i get them to bare fruit again?

I have no idea how to get the plant to fruit as these were some we found growing wild, but it tastes like a slightly fruity cucumber (maybe a watermelon/cucumber hybrid). It's unique, but very refreshing.
