This complex was crammed with exquisitely ornate palaces and temples. Each King of Thailand determined to leave his mark has led to a 'keeping up with the Ramas' on grand scale with massive budgets. Although each building is quite beautiful the overall effect seems a little obscene. So much wealth, so obviously displayed.

We headed to Bangkok once more, in order to catch our scheduled flight to Hong Kong. Delighted to hear that Steve's folks - Hazel and Derek - will be jetting out to see us there.
