Train to Chiang Mai

Yesterday (Friday) we left the VN Guesthouse (which I would recommend...although Lou cried when she saw how basic it was) at Kanchanaburi for the bus back to Bangkok, in order to take the 6.00pm overnight train to Chiang Mai in far northern Thailand.
