Time to say goodbye (or rather: see you - I'm sure I'll be back!) to Guatemala - on we went over the border to Belize. No chaotic border-chrossings this time, just a van-ride, a couple of stamps and an exit-fee and we found ourselves in Belize, a very nice and small english-speaking country with a decidedly Caribbean, laid-back feel about it. For those of you who don´t know: My sister and me went to Mexico, Guatemala and Belize in September 2007. We took this absolutely beautiful trip with GAP, had an amazing time, gained quite a tan (which, by now, is sadly almost completely gone), met a whole lot of great people and fell totally in love with Latin America.
Go there, if you have the chance!!
