Qenqo - Place of worhsip and surgery!

Qenqo is a very interesting Inca ruin, a small cave with 2 doorways, a window, altar, and chamber. Like many Inca structures, Qenqo is multi-purpose. It was a place of worship and making offerings (such as food, artwork, etc.). Offerings were placed in a small chamber and burned, if the fire was clean and burned quickly the offering was considered accepted by Pacha Mama (mother earth). The ... read more
