Perfect place for history lovers like me :) Chichen Itza has been widely studied. However, its history is still clouded in mystery. There are many theories and legends about it. It takes 2 hours and a half by bus from Cancun to Chichen Itza - long and tiring one-day trip. But it is really really really worthy.
