Next up was Cusco and Macha Picchu! In a way I wasn’t looking forward to Cusco as we have read and heard how touristy it is. It turned out to be very touristy but not as bad as we thought. Once again we arrived 2 hours early at 6am and again there was a friendly tout (Marie) on hand to get us a hotel room right on the main plaza for 8 pound a night, which is not bad going for Cusco.
