June 22, 2007. Slept in till 7:30 am. Wow, that was nice. Even the dogs cooperated! . We started the Aster Peak trail before 9:00 am. The trail is only 1.9 miles with a 670 ft. vertical climb, but all the climb was in the last .7 of a mile so it did get our hearts pumping!
