Cusco to Puno, and the Uros (floating) Islands

We were picked up from our hotel in Cusco at 7am on Saturday for a 9 hour bus trip to Puno. There didn't appear to be a lot to see along the way but they told us the bus was quicker than the train so it seemed like the most efficient way to get there.
