Gert told us how the EU gave money to build a road along one side of this lake. Then a year after the road was done they designated the area a nature reserve and closed the road. Its no wonder that a lot of the locals think the EU wastes money!!
The Bukk National Park

After a few days relaxing in Eger we headed for the Bukk national park, about 20km north east of Eger. We've enjoyed keeping fit and excercising in the outdoors on this trip and after a few days of relaxing we are always eger to get back to the countryside for some hiking or cycling.
