One of the monastry

They are built like a fort on the outside to wade off attacked from soldiers in the past. The interior is totally different with lavish decor, gold chandliar, intricate wood carvings and beautiful wall-paintings. Everything is breath-taking! Too bad, photo-taking is not allowed.

I was entering the previous entry and the tour bus arrived so got to end it abruptly with no pix. We went on a 2-day tour to Delphi and Meteora.
