After the turn of the century the tunnel was turned into a bicycle and pedestrian tunnel. The installed coloured LED lights along the tunnel are both as light source and to produce a light show.

We have travelled more or less regularly since the mid 1990-ies and it seems like the more we travel the more difficult it is to decide where to go next. Not because we are running out of places to visit but because we find more places we want to go to faster than we manage to travel to them.

Perspective I enjoy and respect sympathetic restorations, but repurposing old architectural structures is so much more meaningful to me... breathing life into them in a practical way. I love the perspective and depth of this photo :)
They did a good job They did a good job bringing that tunnel back into life. It is both a pretty cool sight to visit, much thanks to the lights, and also a useful bicycle tunnel. /Ake
