Krka National Park: Waterfalls and Steps!

We had a wonderful day today exploring Krka National Park. It was a day of waterfalls, a beautiful monastery, and lots of steps (over 26,000 according to my fitbit). Cemeteries on hills
Your blog just reminded me of a country we visited where they had their cemeteries on hills so the living could see the candles/lights of their loved ones at night... I'll have to look up our old blogs to check where that was. How lucky the rain held off for that beautiful walk. Love the red roofs of Croatia :)

Cemeteries on Hills
The cemetery was on such a beautiful spot, and looked really interesting (we didn’t wander around as there was a funeral underway). I wonder if it was Mexico with the cemeteries on hills? Likely that’s common in lots of countries. I loved the red terracotta tile roofs too!
