Stappen / Steps

Deze is alleen voor degenen die ook dagelijks hun stappen tellen. Dan krijg je een beetje een idee wat het betekent om deze pelgrimstocht te lopen. Dit zijn Gerard’s stappen. De eerste dag, 11/7, was een rustdag (15.455 stappen). Het hoogste aantal was op 12/7, toen we 32 km liepen, met 44.817 stappen. Vandaag is nog bezig. Nog net onder de 30.000 stappen. Elly doet ongeveer 10% meer stappen. This one is only for people who also count their daily steps. So you can get an idea of what it means to be walking this pilgrimage. These are Gerard’s steps. The first day, 11/7, was a rest day (15,455 steps). The highest number was on 12/7, when we walked 32 kms, with 44,817 steps. Today is still going, just under 30,000 steps so far. Elly’s step numbers are about 10% higher.
Day 16: Corbeny - Hermonville

Today was luckily a shorter day: 20.3 kms. But because we stayed at a hotel last night and it is Sunday, breakfast wasn’t served until 8:30.
