Tadeusz Kościuszko Monument

Pomnik Tadeusza Kościuszki - Tadeusz Kościuszko Monument. Installed at Wawel Castle in 1924, restored in 1960 after World War II damage. Tadeusz Kościuszko (1746-1817) fought with the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War and led the 1794 Polish uprising against Prussia and Russia. DSC_0417

Monday morning would be a full day of sightseeing in and around Krakow, including Wawel Castle and the Old Town.
