Up with the lark we left our little parking spot beneath the roman fort and headed back on ourselves towards Carlisle . We had not realised just how far back we had travelled yesterday . So glad we were to find a night parking spot we hadn't given a thought to the fact that we had a 45 minute ride just to get back to Carlisle where we left yesterday .
