Sharing food in Picol

When we arrived in Picol, the assembled families laid out a blanket of boiled potatoes and a green chile sauce. They also brought out chicha for us to drink, after we had finished all of the potatoes.

COVID in Cusco: Week 17

Sunday, 5 July, 2020 Today I woke up in a tent, in the middle of the Huchuy Qosqo Inca archeological site. Last night was a full moon and it really was a magical experience to see such an important Inca site lit up by moonlight as if it were daytime.
