From Kunmig we took a 4 hour bus to Dali - a small town surrounded by walls and huge gates, with special archituctue- very romantic. Many houses are rebuilt or new so at first you feel cheated, like it is not really authentic or jiffa...but after we walked around and spent few hours inside the yards of the local high school, built in the same style our feeling has changed.
