I went on a walk today, which is the New Zealand way to say you went hiking. I started at Whanagrei Falls and went into Whangarei. It was a nice day, good weather, beautiful scenery. I'm Lara, currently 19 years old, and I left Germany for New Zealand on December the second. I have always wanted to travel, and I have already travelled some in my time, but never so far from home and quite so alone. I came here largely because of my undying love for Lord of the Rings, and also because of a general lack of anything better to do.
