Arriving in this region to explore Hadrian's wall took several hours from Las Vegas. First flight on American Airlines from LAS to PHI (Philadelphia airport), then another AA flight to MAN (Manchester). Interesting flight numbers. 437 LAS to PHI and 734 PHI to MAN. 30 minutes delay was made up enroute. Find I was upgraded for next leg which meant admiral club access for my 4+ hour layover.
