Hello everyone

Im not coming home in October... that is all

Haha fine il explain
Im having quite a time over here and really enjoying working for robert and just farming in general, ive thought about it and I started this farming season so im going to see it through till harvest. Plan so far is to stay here in Oz until the middle of December or so hopefully having most if not all of the harvest completed then hop the ditch over to NZ for a fortnight and see everyone over there one more time before heading back to the great white north for christmas. I do miss home a bit, just want to do more farming until i have to come home and start a career.
There now send me angry emails about how you all miss me and need me at home.... :-D

Ive been keeping pretty busy, spraying all the crops with roberts pull type sprayer, nice and big so on a good day i can usually get three tips out. Also been trying a new approch with crop nutrition, tests have found that in some places the plant is reaching as far down as 2m underground for basic elements for growth like Magnisium and Potassium but all thats down there is Boron and only that, to fix this problem the agronomist is saying to spray a mixture of Magnisium Sulfate and a solution of other goodies called plasma on the crop to give it a balanced dose of everything so it dosnt have to go searching for it. compelling stuff, i feel smarter for knowing all about it haha

Its Auguest already! been here for 3.5 months and its going too fast, was planning to go on a 3 week roadtrip with 2 other trainees this month but we've decided to leave it till september so we can catch some massive parties and the royal adelaide show at the start of Sept. The plan is to fly to sydney and pick up a campervan that sleeps 3 and take 15 or so days driving up to brisbane and around there take the van back and then live like hobos for another week before flying back to Aldelaide... sounds good right? haha

hhmm what else to say... oh went to this massive party this last weekend, like the kind of party you dress up in a suit to get into said party and then you are lucky if you leave with your pants and one shoe on... yes it was crazy, my shirt was ripped off my body and once my canadian tattoo was visable EVERYONE wanted to be taken 2-stepping and wondered what its like to fight a polar bear.... i told them it was really hard haha Aussies and Candians get along very well!

Thats all for now i reckon
Keep the shiney side up, goodbye turkey, so long! (Corb Lund said this)
