i quit blogging.
riddled by guilt
on my self-declared
“study holiday,”
i quit blogging.

i was consumed with procrastination.
i refused to open thesis.dot.doc for weeks on end.
i felt so guilty about NOT WRITING MY THESIS that i quit blogging.

the written record is lost—
confined to contours of memory,
but the adventures continue.

hard to summarise all that transpired since my last blog,
and i can’t be assed to render a rough sketch…
so suffice it to say that an epic journey was made—
hitching across turtle island from montreal to vancouver,
there were many conversations and much couch surfing.
i rode on a bridal train to berkeley called the peace train —
can you muster your imagination to dream of the station?

we stopped and we rode.
we definitely growed.

despite four months of capering about from april til august,
and despite a chronic case of academic procrastination overseas,
i made it back to sydneytown with eleven days to spare
before buckling down and dashing to the deadline.

the thesis is done,
and now there are seven more letters to trail my name…
hate to say it, but procrastination is still my game.
thank you for reading the guilt train of my shame.

apologies for leaving you out of the loop.
the adventures continue & the blog is back.

lolol.. I have muchos sympathies... here i am in singapore airport killing time until my flight home.. 2 months of travel in beautiful england, scotland, croatia, italy and france... and where are my blogs you may well ask??! *shame on me...* love ya sweetcheeks.. hope to catch you soon

Glad you're back on the blog...it's a great plan to write the memories before they amalgamate. How about a memorial to the best little pooch EVER! Love ya!
