Abel Tasman, Westport & Greymouth

Abel Tasman
Abel Tasman is a huge national park in north -west NZ. It was by far the most beautiful place that we have seen so far in the South Island. Golden sandy beaches and amazing weather!! We ventured out to sea on a guided kayak tour which was a really nice way of seeing the golden coast line. The sea was a bit choppy that day which resulted in Stephen looking a bit green! Haha!

Fox Glacier
Fox Glacier is one of New Zealands main glaciers and stretches around 13km long. We decided to go on a guided walk on part of the glacier which was 180 metres deep. We were supplied with boots and crampons and some funky socks and off we went. We were really blessed with the weather as it is usually misty and cloudy. It was a worthwhile cool experience!

Distance driven so far - 1100km.
