(In an expensive internet cafe so have decided to do a quick summary!)
Timaru
Drove here from Akaroa - quite a small town, found a great free campervan park for overnight with views over the sea. It was a Bank Holiday though so felt a bit like a ghost town!

Oamaru
Famous for its penguins! So we saw a night time viewing of the Little Blue penguins coming ashore for the night - they're only about 30cm high, very cute! Took a walk in the hills (nearly died on one very steep bit!), and parked up in a holiday park for a nice warm shower!

Dunedin
Continued down the coast to Dunedin, via the Moeraki Boulders (big boulders on the beach, up to 4m wide, perfectly circular). After entering Dunedin we went drove along a very narrow windy road to Otago Peninsula, with a few screams from Cassie! We attempted to see some albatross but they were all hidden away, still the number of birds and the wind were pretty impressive. Dunedin was very studenty and we treated ourselves to a pizza-based dinner out and sampled the local beer.

Te Anau
After an eventful journey across to Te Anau involving an exploding tyre (luckily a 'tyre man' was just around the corner and helped us get the spare tyre fitted). We managed to get a new tyre as a spare this morning for our drive to Milford Sound where we're booked on to a boat this afternoon.

Unfortunately the computer is not working so we can't upload photos again! We will do so ASAP.
