Chilly nights and aching joints!!!

Having spent a few chilly nights in a tent, we now ask ourselves.
Why did we even contemplate it in the first place?

It looked so much more fun when the youngsters did it in Australia - But the weather was much hotter there!!!


At our age, we are finding it tough to get our stiff joints moving in the mornings!!!!

And then we have the added chore of drying out the tent, before packing it away.
Where does are that condensation come from?


Near the coast there is nothing between us and the South Pole,
so when the wind blows it's freezing.


So all you back home in the throws of winter, remember you have your central heating
We only have a tent


But hey-ho we soldier on, lots more to see and do.


Heres hoping the nights get warmer once we start heading north.......

The tide was coming in fast....

Well worth the $5 charge...
Pity you can't stay on the beach, they lock the gates before high tide...
