Scenery I have been waiting for!
Got the boat from the North Island to the South Island which took about three and a half hours I think, it was a bit choppy at first and I could hear someone being sick really really loudly in the lounge I was in which wasn't very pleasant first thing in the morning!

The boat docked at Picton which was a nice little place and was where I picked up the Tranzalpine Train through to Christchurch which took another 5 hours but was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend it as you get to see some fantastic scenery and it made a change from the Magic bus! The train in itself was fantastic really plush inside and also lots of room so I just sat back and enjoyed the views!

After a long day of travelling I eventually get to Christchurch but only for a stop over, will be coming back here again before I leave as I have to catch my flight from here.
