Went to the service on Sunday evening. Not many of us, but it doesn't fit that many people anyway (Sally - take note!). It is called the Church of the Good Shepherd and nearby is a statue of a collie dog, as a tribute to the fact that they couldn't manage without them...
Hello again. feeling quite a bit better today, thank goodness. A good massage to help my head and neck was a start, and then I indulged in a bit of retail therapy! A foldable plastic bowl, a Backcountry dehydrated meal to try on the Kepler track next week and a merino cardigan/jumper. Oops, the last one was a bit extravagant but I like it and was sick of wearing my fleece whenever I needed warmth. And I may just pop back for a camping pillow!

Anyway, here's the next instalment of photos...

The highest mountain in New Zealand. Have photos of it from the other side (where we were in the hut). The Ball Pass route comes from one side of Mount Cook to the other.
