Windy Wellington!!
Finally starting next chapter- the south island whoop!!!! Wellington was really great city with a good vibe.. but boy was it windy!!! We went to te papa, the equivalent of our natural history museum.. it was good but not quite on par with ours!! it was free though and was good to wonder around.. the best fact i learnt!!!! So vegemite was originally going to be called 'pa will' the kiwi wanted to copy marmite (ma might) haha brilliant! also saw a cow made from corn beef cans.. yup those were the highlights!!! next day ferry south- really pretty journey! arrived in Nelson and decided to spend a few nights there. the city was good fun, and Charlotte and I dida day trip to Abel Tasmin National Park. all the trips through companies were so expensive we thought we would just do it ourselves.. we took a coach there and arrived to pouring rain.. and no rain jackets.. we went to the only building- a cafe and had a cup of tea and laughed! the rain cleared and we went for a good walk stopping off at seculded beaches. Good day out. We left Nelson and headed down the west coast.

On the way to Westport we stopped off at a place where we walked round the 'pancake rocks' and were blow holes which water would shoot up!! We arrived in Westport- minners town and were told not to go out alone and watch our money.. great! haha we walked to the local beach and hour away, which was covered in logs!! haha everybody whinged and i went in for a gret refreshing swim :)
