Friends and family: I hope that spring weather has finally arrived. I have kept my eye on U.S./Midwest weather and it sounds as if it has not been the best. Point of No Return

This is the highest elevation that we could hike to on the glacier. Behind me you will see some spire like glacial formations. Although they may not look like it, they are over 5 stories tall. It is absolutely impassible past the point at which I am at. Professional climbers with high tech equipment cannot traverse further up the glacier. The spires are too tall, moving too quickly (crazy to think that ice is moving...), and the crevasses around them are absolutely treacherous.
