We left Mt Cook this Am and headed south for a bit on our way to Christchurch. Along the was we stopped and checked out some Mauri drawing on a cliff. They had been weathered pretty bad and weren’t that visible. We also stopped and saw the elephant boulders. They are some rocks that have been weathered over thousands of years and are just in the middle of a field. You can find fossles of sharks teeth and shells in most of them. After that we headed to Moeraki to see some boulders that were along the coast line. They have been rolled into almost perfect balls over the years and then washed out of the cliffs by the waves. They are pretty neat and almost the same as the ones in Galligers canyon just ALOT bigger.
