Damn its cold

Arrived in Christchurch with the idea in mind that I needed to get to Queenstown urgently so that I could find work, apply for a visa, and fund my snowboarding season as planned.

As all travellers know and hate, plans suck, having a plan means you miss out on goldne opportunities. So in my haste to get to Queenstown, I ignored all the people telling me that I would never find work, that I can't get a visa and that its a waste of time going there unless I'm planning on doing a bungee....erm...well they were kind of right! :-)
