Bye Bye Australasia

The continent that Faye and I have called home for the last 2 months will soon be far, far behind us as we jet across the oceans to reach Santiago, Chile! What a totally different experience we will have there! Had to write one last time before we left the glorious place that is New Zealand and fill you in on those last little details...the rest of Queenstown was awesome, as expected, and made even more so by the fact that Ele came down from Wellington for a mini break and we bungy jumped together! Apologies to Stephen and Rachel for endangering their only daughter...but ask her and she'll tell you it was worth it! On Friday we left Queenstown and caught the Kiwi bus, for the last time, to Christchurch. In the evening we went to watch a rugby game - Crusaders vs Chiefs - and enjoyed fush and chups before an early night, as we'd had a big one the night before! Faye and I are still in Christchurch, but all our friends have moved onto pastures new so we are just doing some admin (for those of you who have facebook, check out how much time I've spent on there in the past few days! Photos galore!!) before we fly out tomorrow. Christchurch is a beautiful place, and people weren't wrong when they commented on it to us as "English", as to me it is a cross between London and Oxford in miniature. We are lucky to have been here over the weekend as this has enabled us to pay one too many visits to the market for crepes and bratwurst!
