Our next OS trip: New Zealand.
Flew into Christchurch 10ish and went straight to pick up our new home for the next 12 days: a six berth Backpacker campervan.
First surprise was the amazing scenery of Arthurs Pass, just a two hour drive from the capital of the South Island.
This blog aims to tell our story of our time exploring and learning in the UK. We are expecting to discover new places to explore, new adventures to experience and many lessons to learn (with loads of ups and downs) We hope to eventually return with a renewed sense of appreciation for what we have and the knowledge that we took on a challenge with passion, a sense of adventure and wonder, and some courage..and returned to tell the tale.

Kea ParrotVery intelligent birds that like to get their beaks into everything: tents, backpacks, cars, windshield wipers...whatever. You must play a game of placing rocks around your property and splashing them with water if they pass the invisible line, then they leave you alone.
