Not sure of the name of these falls.
We have been in New Zealand for a week and a half now. We have camped in our tent every night - there are a lot of camp sites and they all seem to have good facilities like kitchens etc.
We have stayed one to two nights in each place.

Northland - went to the bay of island on a boat trip. Also went to 90-mile beach (which is actually about 60 miles long).

Auckland - looked around town, went to an interesting museum and to the top of the sky tower.

Coromandel - went to hot water beach - this is a beach where hot water springs out of the ground right at the waterline. Also went on a walk to Cathedral cove - very beautiful.

Tongariro National Park - went on some excellent hikes through the park.

We are now in Taupo - we went to a park that has lots of thermal activity this morning - bubbling mud, hot springs etc.

The weather has been changing a lot - it will be hot and then suddenly get cold or start to rain, then after 15 minutes it will change back. But today there has been a large storm - lots of rain and thunder.

Anyway we are having a great time.

Matt

The colors are caused by minerals in the water.
